DKSC Philosophy Trusting the Process
At DKSC, "trust the process" is in our DNA.
We express this because we have seen and know that with commitment, perseverance, hard work and grit we will achieve some amazing things.
The key is having the patience and support from our DKSC parents. We feel too many are impatient and want instant results.
The process is focusing on each training session and game to improve. We understand that failure is required for long term success.
Trusting the process is having the belief in yourself and your environment 365 days.
It's a marathon.
Club Rundown
DKSC was founded in 2018 as a result of two clubs sharing the same values. Kicks SC (est 2005) was a club that began with Juan Martinez's vision to create a club that focuses on the individual player to make a difference in their lives on and off the field.
About Kicks SC
Kicks was founded by Juan Martinez in 2005 in his backyard. Juan was ambitious looking to provide the very best player environment for his daughter Jordan Martinez where she can develop as a player and person. He wanted to make a difference in the lives of youth in the same way his adopted 7th grade pre-algebra teacher made on his life.
Kicks was known as the small club that wore the Brazil canary yellow uniforms, competing against the best clubs in NTX.
Today, some of the players that came out of Kicks have represented USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico on the national stage, while several are representing universities such as UNC, UCLA, Baylor, TCU, West Virginia, Texas Tech, University of Tulsa, University of Minnesota, University of Houston and many more.
About D'Feeters SC
D'Feeters Soccer Club (est 1978) was an all-girls soccer club. Their vision was to develop the complete player thru a holistic approach. The focus was on quality over quality. D'Feeters was known as the elite 8 club. They focus on having one team in each group that could compete from top to bottom with any team in the nation. While we had to evolve with the changing of time to multiple teams per age group the philosophy still remains: Quality over quantity.
DKSC has now established itself as one of the premier youth soccer clubs in the US for developing quality soccer players. DKSC continues to focus on developing high soccer IQ players who truly know how to play the beautiful game. Decision making and understanding of the game is our focus.

• The aim is to provide an opportunity to young athletes from all economic circumstances, and a pathway to the highest levels of youth soccer and beyond at the lowest possible cost for all players.
• DKSC looks for people with a purpose that extends beyond themselves to work at the club at every level.

• Just like a real family, they aren't always perfect, they don't always make the right decisions, and at times they have some crazy aunts and uncles to put up with, but they love their kids and always want the best for them, in soccer and in life.
