Trusting the Process
At DKSC, "Trust The Process" is in our DNA.
We express this because we have seen and know that with commitment, perseverance, hard work and grit we will achieve some amazing things.
The key is having the patience and support from our DKSC parents. We feel too many are impatient and want instant results.
The process is focusing on each training session and game to improve. We understand that failure is required for long term success.
Trusting the process is having the belief in yourself and your environment 365 days.
It's a marathon.
Club Rundown
Founded in 2018, DKSC brought together D’Feeters and Dallas Kicks—two clubs connected by shared values and a commitment to developing players beyond the game. Dallas Kicks, established in 2005 by Juan Martinez, was founded on a vision to put the individual player at the center of development, creating opportunities and making a lasting impact both on and off the field.
THE Dallas Kicks sTORY
Dallas Kicks was founded in 2005 by Juan Martinez, with humble beginnings in his own backyard. Driven by a desire to create the best possible environment for his daughter, Jordan Martinez, Juan envisioned a club where players could grow not only as athletes, but also as people.
His vision was deeply personal. Inspired by the life-changing impact his seventh-grade pre-algebra teacher and adoptive parent had on his own life, Juan wanted to use soccer as a way to make that same kind of meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Known throughout North Texas as the small club in the unmistakable Brazil-inspired canary yellow uniforms, Dallas Kicks built its reputation by believing in individual development and fearlessly competing against some of the top clubs in the region.
Over the years, that small backyard vision grew into something much bigger. Players developed through Kicks have gone on to represent the United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico on the national stage, while many others have continued their playing careers at prestigious universities including UNC, UCLA, Baylor, TCU, West Virginia, Texas Tech, the University of Tennessee the University of Tulsa, the University of Minnesota, the University of Houston, and many more.
What began in a backyard was never just about soccer. It was about creating an environment where players could develop, opportunities could be earned, and lives could be changed through the game.
THE D'FEETERS SC sTORY
Founded in 1978, D’Feeters Soccer Club began as an all-girls club with a clear purpose: to develop the complete player through a holistic approach that focused on every aspect of a player’s growth and development.
From the beginning, D’Feeters built its identity around a simple philosophy: quality over quantity. Known as the “Elite 8,” the club sought to field one highly competitive team in each age group, creating an environment where players could develop and compete at the highest levels regionally and nationally.
As the club grew and expanded to include multiple teams across age groups, its foundational philosophy remained unchanged. The commitment has always been to prioritize the quality of the player experience, the development environment, and the individual player.
Today, that legacy continues as part of DKSC. The club has established itself as one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the United States for player development, with an emphasis on developing intelligent, confident, and technically proficient players.
At the heart of the DKSC approach is the development of a high soccer IQ—teaching players to understand the game, make effective decisions, solve problems, and ultimately become players who can think and perform at the highest levels.
The name has evolved, the club has grown, but the foundation remains the same: quality over quantity and an unwavering commitment to developing the complete player.

A Culture & Environment
• DKSC is a club in the truest sense of the word.
• DKSC is here to teach kids the love of the game, how to get better at it, and how to win when winning is important.
• The aim is to provide an opportunity to young athletes from all economic circumstances, and a pathway to the highest levels of youth soccer and beyond at the lowest possible cost for all players.
• DKSC looks for people with a purpose that extends beyond themselves to work at the club at every level.
• The kind of players they want to join the club, and most importantly, these are exactly the kind of people they want their players to become.
• DKSC coaches its members in highly collaborative, player-centered ways to the highest levels, using the lessons taught on how to be a resilient person with good character, and how that can translate to winning on the field as well.

• Just like a real family, they aren't always perfect, they don't always make the right decisions, and at times they have some crazy aunts and uncles to put up with, but they love their kids and always want the best for them, in soccer and in life.
• All of this and more is what they call Making a Difference, and they are striving to make that difference every day in everything they do.
